Terms of service

Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and devmarketing.co ("we", "us"), which operates aeotrace. By creating an account or using aeotrace you accept them.

If you use aeotrace for a company, you confirm you can accept these terms on its behalf, and "you" means that company.

The service

aeotrace runs the prompts you choose on AI answer engines such as ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, through third-party data providers. It reports where your brand and competitors are mentioned and cited, suggests actions, and can write drafts. We may change, add or remove features over time. We aim to keep aeotrace available but do not promise uninterrupted service.

Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your login safe. You are responsible for activity in your account and your teams.
• You must be at least 16 and using aeotrace for work.
• Team owners and admins control who can access a team's data.

Plans, trial and billing

• aeotrace is a monthly subscription. Prices are shown on our pricing page in US dollars. Taxes are added where the law requires.
• A team's first subscription starts with a 7-day trial. To start it we charge a one-time fee of $3.00, which keeps out fake signups and is not refunded.
• When the trial ends, the subscription renews automatically every month at your plan's price until you cancel.
• Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• If a payment fails we may pause daily runs until it is fixed.
• We will give you notice before a price change. New prices apply from your next billing period.

Cancellation and refunds

• You can cancel at any time in the billing portal (Settings, then Billing). Cancel during the trial and you will not be charged the plan price.
• After cancelling, your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then stops renewing.
• We do not refund partial months, unless the law requires it.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we end the service for reasons other than a breach, we will refund any prepaid, unused period.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use aeotrace for anything illegal, or to create or store illegal, infringing, defamatory or harmful content;
• scrape, crawl or bulk export aeotrace, or use it to abuse AI engines or other websites;
• get around plan limits, share one account to avoid paying for more, or resell access without our written agreement;
• probe, attack or overload our systems, or access data that is not yours;
• put other people's personal data or confidential information into prompts or drafts without the right to do so.

Your content

You own the brands, prompts and drafts you create. You give us permission to store and process them only to run aeotrace for you, including sending them to the providers listed in our privacy policy. You are responsible for what you publish from a draft.

AI output and estimates

• AI answers are generated by third-party engines. Answers, mention classifications and drafts can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check them before relying on them or publishing anything.
• Visibility numbers are estimates from a sample of answers. AI engines answer differently each time, so every number has a noise range, and we show it where we can.
• We do not control AI engines and cannot promise that any action will change how they mention your brand.

Warranties and liability

aeotrace is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties beyond those in these terms.

Our total liability for any claim connected to aeotrace is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or indirect damages.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top. For important changes we will email account owners at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using aeotrace after that, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, cancel before then.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country where devmarketing.co is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
