Privacy Policy

AEOTrace (“we”, “us”) helps B2B SaaS teams see how AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini recommend products in their category. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run your audit and deliver your report.

When you run an audit, you give us:

• Your email address, so we can send your report and receipt.
• Your domain, product category, who you sell to, and competitor names. These are the inputs we use to generate buyer queries.

We also collect a small amount of technical data automatically:

• A hashed version of your IP address, used to prevent abuse and rate limit free audits. We do not store your raw IP address.
• Basic, privacy-friendly analytics about page visits. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers.

• To run your audit across AI answer engines and build your report.
• To email you the report link, and a receipt if you buy the full report.
• To process payment for the paid report.
• To prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve the product.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your competitor list or report with anyone outside the services below.

To run AEOTrace, we share the limited data needed with trusted providers:

• AI model providers (OpenAI, Perplexity, Google Gemini) receive the buyer queries we run. These queries do not include your email.
• Stripe processes payments. We never see or store your full card details.
• Resend delivers our transactional emails.
• Cloudflare hosts the app and stores audit records.

We keep your audit records so you can return to your report link. If you want your audit and email deleted, email us at hi@aeotrace.com and we will remove it.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email hi@aeotrace.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy as the product grows. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
